Power, Wiring & the Code
Before you ever open a panel, know what electricians really do, why off isn't the same as dead, why the code depends on where you stand, and which rung of the ladder you're on.

Where are you on the ladder?
Every master was a helper once. Pick your rung — it sets your first move, not your course.

Electrical 101
Dana Ortiz is 22, a first-year electrical apprentice in Arlington — a fictional apprentice, a real ladder. She pulls wire, carries material, and asks a lot of questions. She wants her journeyman license. You'll follow along through four acts and build your own versions as you go.
Next on the ladder: Electrical 202 · the work, the tools, and the money · and the T1 office, when you choose a mentor.
The gate is open and the plan is set. The acts themselves — lessons, practice, guides, and narration — are in the Forge now, and each will be reviewed by a licensed electrician before it opens. Nothing you click here is stored or sent anywhere.
